Poem: Who is Minding the Children?
Who is Minding the Children
Who is minding the children?

Are they not God’s heritage? Who is caring for them as selected arrows? If not me or you then who? Someone has to do it, is it me or you?
Who is minding the children,
As they go from day to day? Some suffering ones need our help; Let’s hear their cry and see their struggles, Rush to meet their needs.
Who is minding the children?
Some are lonely, abused, rejected, and neglected, Some hungry, naked, and abandoned, Some dysfunctional, some confused, Hear their cry reach out to them without delay.
Who is minding the children?
Who is guiding them along life’s way? Who is rescuing them from paedophiles? From traffickers and sexual exploiters? Helpless they are and bound by fear and grief
Who is minding the children?
As they lay destitute by the wayside or in the home, In alleys and streets, motherless, fatherless, helpless! Begging and crying for love and attention; Their cries have touched the Father’s heart.
Who is minding the children?
Who may need a kind word or a loving touch, A good deed done or to be pointed in the right way? Allow them all to come to Jesus who loves them, Give them God’s love, show them the Father’s heart.
