Lincoln based entrance matting manufacturer Make An Entrance, has scooped the sought-after Business Transformation Award at a glittering awards ceremony in London’s Canary Wharf.

Hosted by TV personality Huw Edwards, the Business Champion Awards 2023 received over 800 nominations and a very select group of just 28 winners were announced.

Make An Entrance co-founders Samantha and Stuart Burlton impressed judges with the inspirational story of how they transformed their business from a simple e-commerce operation to an impressive UK manufacturing operation, and in doing so prevented a traditional heritage skill from dying out.

The Business Transformation Award specifically recognised those businesses that had faced significant challenges and whose leaders had seized the opportunity to completely overhaul the way they do things to achieve significant success.
