LIVES ARE BEING CHANGED The last few months have been such an encouraging time as we are reminded God is moving and working in the lives of people. We continue to see lives changed as they hear the Word and accept the gift of eternal life through Jesus. We have more volunteers reaching out to serve post-pandemic, and it encourages our hearts to see people with a heart to serve the broken and hurting in our community.

We also have witnessed the generosity of our donors and the community through multiple fundraisers and giving events in September. We kicked off the month with our annual William M. Thompson Memorial Golf Classic then went straight to our annual Project Vintage Runway Fashion Show. During this year’s fashion show, we launched Recycling for the Homeless. UGM Dallas has partnered with Re-Teck, a global leader in electronic recycling, to collect used electronics to be recycled in return for a portion of the proceeds obtained from recycled materials. We then ended the month strong with North Texas Giving Day, an annual one-day, online giving event. We want to thank you for your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for us as we have the opportunity to reach even more of the homeless population in upcoming weeks as begin the holiday season. May they be reminded of God’s love for them through a meal, a night’s stay and their interaction with our volunteers and staff. God Bless You.

WE NEED YOUR HELP
to Feed the Homeless This Holiday Season As families make plans to gather together for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, the team at UGM Dallas is working to prepare for greater numbers of individuals and families in need. Tough economic conditions have caused even those with jobs to struggle to make ends meet. We are ready to meet the need – Will you join us? The holidays are a reminder to our homeless neighbors of what is missing in their lives – family, food and shelter. This holiday season, join us in reminding them that our community is here to help them get back on their feet. You can help by giving today. We’ve enclosed meal tickets and ask that you give your best gift knowing it is feeding a homeless person who misses being with their family this time of year.
