It is with great joy and hope that I share with you what the Lord is doing at UGM Dallas. As we look around this world, it is so easy to get discouraged. Every day at UGM Dallas we have the opportunity to witness God at work changing hearts and lives.
Fall is a busy time here at the Mission. We have our 6th Annual William M. Thompson Memorial Golf Classic on Sept. 11th, North Texas Giving Day on Sept. 21st, and Up and Running will be participating in the Texas Quad Half Marathon on Nov. 26th These events provide a platform to share with our community the work being done at UGM Dallas to transform lives and end homelessness one person at a time while also raising the funds needed to operate the next year.

25% More People Served = INCREASED ELECTRICITY & GAS EXPENSES
INCREASES IN THE HOMELESS POPULATION has created a need for ADDITIONAL SECURITY to provide 24/7 oversight.
The Timothy Project’s Back 2 School Event helped children at Center of Hope by providing backpacks filled with essential supplies. Children also received haircuts and other services donated by local businesses.
“The Discipleship Program is the key to learning how to be responsible to yourself, to your family and to God.”
Brian joined the Discipleship Program at UGM Dallas and has taken advantage of all the program has to offer.
“I enjoy serving others. To give back to society in a positive way is joyful.”
A special thank you to all donors and volunteers who made the event a success. It was a heartwarming display of community support, ensuring these kids were well-equipped for the upcoming school year.

We are thrilled to introduce Maranda Brown as the newest addition to our team at UGM Dallas Center of Hope. Maranda brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion, holding a Masters in Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Theological Seminary. Your continued support allows UGM Dallas to provide services like counseling to our most vulnerable population.
Sally Kay Davis, a beloved figure in the community and a dedicated supporter of UGM Dallas, passed away on August 3, 2023. Sally was a woman of great faith and unwavering love. Sally’s life was marked by her deep commitment to her faith, which she lived out daily. She was a devoted member of Park Cities Baptist Church for over 67 years and was passionate about teaching the Bible. Sally’s son, Davey Davis, continues her legacy as a dedicated board member of UGM Dallas, carrying forward her passion for making a positive impact in the community. Sally’s memory will forever inspire and remind us of the power of faith, family, and love.
