About us The Convention & Visitors Bureau has been created with the support of the Region of Tuscany, as well as the Provinces of Lucca and Massa-Carrara and their Chambers of Commerce. The goal is to unify (integrate) different areas in order to develop effective marketing strategies for the entire territory.

The organizational structure of the Convention & Visitors Bureau was established in September 2009.

Discover us... A slice of Tuscany, a slice of heaven!

The Versilia and Costa Apuana, is located in the northern part of the Tuscan coast. More than 500 years ago Michelangelo fell in love with this area and his genius created masterpieces transforming the wonderful white marble that everyone can admire while visiting. The white Apuan mountains lead to the gentle Tuscan hills full of olive trees reaching the wide sandy beaches and deep blue sea.

High mountains, green hills, endless sparkling beaches and rich Mediterranean vegetation. Very few other places are capable of offering such a variety of environments within a relatively limited space. This explains perfectly the undisputed charm of Versilia in everyone's imagination as one of the most enticing destinations, symbol of light-heartedness and glamour, combined with a remarkable artistic and historical heritage as well as a rich natural environment and flavourful Tuscan dishes.

Costa Apuana is located in northern Tuscany in the province of Massa-Carrara, on a crossroads of charming destinations such as the Poets’ Gulf, the Cinque Terre (Five lands), as well as numerous historic cities in Tuscany. Nature has created a perfect harmony between land and sea, with the Lunigiana in the hinterland, offering a varied and fascinating landscape with many interesting routes.

Here you can find Romanesque rural churches (pievi), castles and medieval hamlets, as well as a wide range of local products and ancient flavours, evidence of a heritage filled with history and tradition. The Apuan Alps, famous marble mountains overlooking the blue sea, host the fascinating quarries, a natural venue to plan events.
