Main Function Rooms William Cape Boardroom The William Cape boardroom is an ideal space for training and meetings for smaller groups without the fuss of a large room. This room features a private bathroom, natural light, and fresh air from the small balcony. Speedwell and Malvern Star Rooms The Speedwell and Malvern Star rooms can be used separately or combined together for larger events featuring beautiful natural light from the Outdoor Garden and Atrium. These rooms are our most flexible rooms and are suitable for intricate layouts such as all day workshops, sit down meals, or a cocktail style event. The Speedwell and Malvern Star rooms are located next to The Canberra Wine House; perfect for your pre or postevent drinks. The Marquee The Marquee, our largest room, can comfortably fit up to 300 people and features a private bar with bar attendant/s, large projector, and adequate space for a band or DJ. The Marquee is a modern space ideal for larger events such as weddings, engagement parties, birthday parties, presentation nights etc. All function rooms are equipped with modern furniture and are suitable for a range of different configurations and layouts. Wireless ADSL internet access and complimentary car-parking are also included with every booking.

Terms & Conditions Events at The Tradies does not host 18th birthday parties or 21st birthday parties. Deposits Tentative bookings will only be held without a deposit for up to 14-days. Bookings will be secured by a $250.00 deposit and signed agreement to our terms and conditions. Cancellation of Reservation Deposits will be refunded where a cancellation occurs within 60-days of the event date. If a cancellation occurs less than 60-days prior, the deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations occurring less than 30-days prior to an event will also incur a room hire charge. Additionally, bookings canceled within 4-working-days of an event will be charged 50% of agreed food requirements. Number Confirmation For planning purposes we request an indication of guest numbers 14-days prior to the event date. Final numbers and event details must be confirmed at least 4-working-days prior to the event date. Charges will be based upon those confirmed numbers. Surcharges Should your event exceed the booked time, a charge of $150.00 per additional hour will incur, plus $50.00 per additional hour if security staff are employed. Room Setup & Floor Plan While every effort is made to cater for individual needs, changes to the agreed table, floor, and setting plans may only occur up to 48-hours prior to an event. Prior approval must be sought for the placement and fixing of any decorative material. Food With the exception of celebratory cakes, only food supplied by The Tradies may be consumed on the premises. If you or any of your guests have dietary requirements, please make these known at time of booking. Please note that menus and pricing are subject to change and availability. Alcohol Under the Responsible Service of Alcohol provisions of the Liquor Licensing Act, service may be refused to any guest and a function terminated at any time due to inappropriate behaviour. Alcohol cannot be provided without food service and catering may not be provided for less than the number attending. Entertainment Any form of entertainment provided by the client must have prior approval and levels of amplified music may be monitored. Damages The client will be responsible for any damage caused by guests to The Tradies property, including any additional cleaning requirements. The Tradies does not accept any responsibility for damages or loss of property and equipment during or after the event. Dress All guests must adhere to dress codes and entry requirements to The Tradies.
