These incredible individuals are not mentioned in textbooks or bias-free media, yet we honor and memorialize their legacy in spite of the oversights. As they inspire us, we hope you will be encouraged to boldly share your gifts and inspire others.

Attitude of Gratitude

It is never too late to heal and express appreciation. It takes a village and you don’t have to bear children to uplift them and elevate community. Tré is, at its essence, a gift from (and a tribute to) my father. I thank Mattie Coleman and the Hill family for giving voice to our celebration of the amazing Black Fathers who inspire us and the incredible men who love us unapologetically.

Living might be simple, but it ‘taint easy. Remember, you are not alone. Regardless of the hurdles that may come your way, you are here for a reason and the world is better with your Source Energy.
