Ingredients
2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp coarse salt 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter at room temperature 1 1/2 cups plus 2 tbsp sugar 2 large eggs 2 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
1 . Preheat the oven to 350 . Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl . 2 . Put butter and 1 1/2 cups of sugar in a bowl . 3 . Mix on medium speed with an electric mixer . Mix until pale and fluffy for about 3 minutes . 4 . Mix in eggs – Reduce speed –gradually add flour mixture . 5 . Stir together cinnamon and remaining 2 tbsp of sugar in a bowl . 6 . Shape dough into 1 3/4 - inch balls; next roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture . 7 . Place on a baking sheet 3 inches apart and bake for 12 to 15 or until golden brown edges appear . 8 . Cool and serve with ice cold milk or hot tea . Enjoy .
