July 1, 2017 From the Pro Kim Griggs, PGA Annual Pass Renewals For those who have already renewed your passes for this next year. There are many packages to choose from this year.

Welcome Back. Please show us your 2017-2018 cards when you check in and we can update you in our Chelsea & I.B.S. systems. Just a reminder, please check into the Pro Shop prior to playing. It is very important that we know who is on the golf course at all times. If you haven’t renewed yet, stop by and see Monica, Kat or Lisa at the Welcome Center. For those of you who are first time buyers‌Welcome. I know you will find this an enjoyable golf course to play. Please feel free to call upon my staff or me for assistance with anything from playing partners, to joining clubs or making a tee time.

Over seed Schedule Please mark your calendars early. Our Over seed will begin Monday September 19th and conclude on Sunday October 8th, the golf course will be open on Monday October 9th. We will be cart path only until the end of October. If you would like to

New Logo As everyone can see we have a new logo (see above). It will take us some time, but we will be changing our old logo for this one.

Merchandise Just a reminder to our Pass Holders: You will receive 30% off on merchandise in the golf shop and Residents will receive 15% off. This excludes sale items and golf balls.

We will be ordering more merchandise in July. Such as hats, gloves, clothing, visors and sun glasses. Please stop by and see our new selection.

Summer Time Reminder Summer time is a good time to have your clubs re-gripped, shaft name labels put on your clubs, & spikes changed in your golf shoes. Stop in the golf shop and we will be glad to assist you with any or all of these services.

Annual Pass Holders: During the months of July and August annual pass holders can stop by the restaurant and receive 2-for-1 margaritas.

You must show the server your 20172018 annual pass cards to receive this deal.

Magazine. He has served as the Head Women’s Golf Coach for Pima Community College for the past five years.

As you can see, Rick has a very wide back ground in the golf business. We all look forward to working with Rick as we welcome him to our team.

Handicap Sheets From now on, the handicaps sheets will be put in your league play binders instead of the handicap information binder.

Rick’s emphasis will be to increase annual memberships and overall play here at The Views GC.

Lost & Found The lost and found is now located next to the ice machine. Lost & found clubs are down in the cart barn in a plastic bin.

Please stop by the golf shop and introduce yourself to Rick as he is looking forward to meeting everyone 

Tournament Results All tournament results are being posted out by the ice machine in a kiosk for each club.

Director of Golf Starting on July 3rd, Rick Price will assume the position of Director of Golf here at The Views GC. Here is a bio of Rick for everyone to read: Rick is a resident of Oro Valley the past 15 years and he has lived in the state of Arizona for 53 years. Rick has been a PGA Professional for over 30 years winning numerous awards; such as PGA Professional of the year six times.

Rick’s most recent job was Head Golf Professional at The Gallery Golf Club.

Before the Gallery, he was the Director of Operations for the Southwest Section PGA Southern Chapter for eight years and was the Director of Golf at Omni Tucson National for six years.

Rick also has seven years’ experience as the Publishing Editor of Golf Arizona 2
