From the Pro Kim Griggs, PGA Golf Course Closed for Overseeding
The golf course is closed to all play from Mon Sept 18, through Sunday Oct 8. We will re-open for play on Mon Oct 9. We will be restricted to cart path only until the end of the month. Date TBD Walkers and riders are welcome during this time but must remember to remain on the cart path at all times and be prepared for the irrigation system to come on at any time. The Driving Range will be closed for Over-seeding on Sept 18 - 20. We will be hitting off the mats beginning on Thurs Sept 21.

Our golf shop hours of operation during over-seeding will be 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM on the days that are not mentioned above. Fri, Sat & Sun. The chipping area and putting green will be closed through all of over seed. Golf at other courses during over seed Ventana Canyon: Call 3 days in advance (577-4061), rate is $32 for pass holders and $37 for non- pass holders. Must show your card at check in. Tubac: Call 1 week in advance (398-3526), rate is $45 Mon-Thurs and $49 Fri-Sun for pass holders only. Must show your card at check in. Vistoso: Call 1 week in advance (7979900), rate is $25 for pass holders only. Must show card at check in. Name Tags & Spikes for shoes If you have not had a chance to purchase name and address labels for your golf clubs, please stop by the golf shop and do so. This will help you to get your club returned to you if you happen to leave them on the course or driving range accidentally. Spikes on your golf shoes wear down rather quickly. For better traction, have them replaced before it is too late. Call or stop by the golf shop for pricing on these 2 services.
New Golf car fleet Our new golf car fleet will be arriving around the second week in September. Also arriving will be a new range picker. Golf Shoe Sale All in stock golf shoes are drastically reduced at 40% off. We are clearing out the 2017 shoe stock to make room for the new 2018 shoes. Stop in to see if we have your size!! Hurry… I will be sending the in stock shoes back to Foot joy & Skecher in October or November. Correct Golfer Names Please remember that when we open back for golf in October that it will be very important for all groups to provide the golf shop with an accurate list of names for the tee sheet. This is very important due to the fact that we have many singles or 2-somes looking to play and if there are any openings, we would like to accommodate them. This will also help with our pace of play. Thank you in advance. Golf Pro Tip Decide & Commit: When it comes to picking the shot and club you’re going to hit, don’t overthink. Consider the lie, the target and any troubles in your way, but keep it simple. Once you make a decision, focus only on what you need to do- no second guessing. If you feel nervous or think your swing is getting a little quick, take one more club and swing smoothly. Annika Sorenstam was very good

Junior Golfer’s On Sat Nov 18th there will be approximately 40 junior golfer’s coming out to play The Views GC. Some will be playing 9 holes and some 18 holes. They will be walking the course and their tee times will begin at 11:00.
