INTRODUCTION At The Vintage Laundry, blue and white ginger jars and vases are our favorite! The more, the merrier is our motto. Their timeless patterns and lovely shapes make it easy to mix and match pieces across styles, and color palettes to create a multi-layered look that translates into a perfectly designed event, every time.
Blue & white porcelain pieces are iconic, classic and possess a real sense of history. Ginger jars, in particular, are decorators most well-known vessels. Their origins began as storage containers in ancient China. However, during the 17th century’s fervor for all things Chinoiserie, they took on a more decorative function.
