Sweet cicely - Myrrhis odorata - is an attractive, early blooming perennial herb, with delicate, fern-like foliage, clusters of tiny white flowersand a pleasant, anise-like aroma!

Sweet cicely plants are known by a number of alternate names, including garden myrrh, fernleaved chervil, shepherdís needle, and sweetscented myrrh.
The plants are rich in nectar and highly valuable to bees and other beneficial insects.
Sweet cicely grows best, when planted in a sunny or partial shady area, that has moist, but well-draining soil.
You can plant sweet cicely seeds directly in the garden in autumn, as the seeds germinate in spring after several weeks of cold winter weather followed by warm temperatures. You can

International Body Building Competition in Torrevieja
On 28 May, the International Auditorium in Torrevieja will be filled with men and women showing of their sculptured and toned bodies, in the AMIX Cup competition. Registration and weigh-in will take place on 27th May, before the athletes take to the stage on the 28th for the main competition, with both men and women and special categories for wheelchair participants.

The plant is easy to dry and retains its sweet aroma, even when dried.
Police arrest gang for stealing roadside e-scooters
National Police have arrested eight people, accused of stealing e-scooters from the roadside in Benidorm. Among those arrested are six minors. Police recovered five of the escooters, valued at euro 1,200.

Benidorm local Police lead investigations into the thefts, that included valued brands and models.
The e-scooters had been stolen while the owners were at a sports centre, having left their scooters tied to fences with security locks.
