Pele’s daughter: My father is fine, he is no longer in pain and will soon return home The Brazil football legend underwent surgery to remove tumour and there was rumours that he has passed away but at the time of this report, his daughter has taken to the social media airspace to inform millions of his followers that he is not dead and he is doing well after the operation. Pele’s daughter, Kely do Nascimiento, confirmed that her father is in good health after undergoing surgery to remove a suspected colon tumour. Kely do Nascimiento published a screenshot of her video call with Pele and expressed her gratitude to all those who offered their support through messages during these days. “I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the messages of support that you have sent me,” Pele’s daughter wrote on Instagram. “I have not had the opportunity to respond to them, but I read them and I feel your support. “My father is fine after the surgery, he has no pain and is in a good mood (annoyed because he can only eat gelatine food,

but he will get past it).”Very soon he will be in a normal room and then he will return home. “He is strong and stubborn. With the support and care of the brilliant medical staff and all the energy that the world is sending him, he will overcome this. According to report he was transferred to the intensive care unit of the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo and from there the rumours spread that he has passed away but he was placed there to allow him sufficient body rest. However, Pele has assured his fans and followers that he is already on the mend. “As you can see, I’m punching the air in celebration of every better day,” he wrote on Instagram. “A good mood is the best medicine and I have plenty of that. It couldn’t be different. I have received so much affection that my heart is full of gratitude. “Thanks to all the amazing staff at Albert Einstein Hospital and my fans around the world!”
