The whole Upper Clutha area offers prospective volunteers a huge array of opportunities to support and encourage existing organizations – and there are always more that would prosper from extra help. Volunteers are currently being recruited to assist with the Cardrona Adaptive Snowsports Programme and also the 100% Pure New Zealand Winter Games –later for Willowridge Wanakafest and Challenge Wanaka. Volunteers or organizations who need
volunteers are encouraged to contact Volunteer Central who can help match volunteers to enjoyable, rewarding and meaningful activities, and allow them to share their skills and meet interesting people along the way. Volunteer today! – contact Gillian White centralvolunteering@gmail. com, or call 443 4102 or register for an information session taking place in Wanaka on July 7th, or pop into Community Networks on a Thursday 9.30 – 4.30pm.
