This year we decided to diversify our projects by putting our builders to work, to build children’s play equipment. Wanaka Mitre 10 got behind us by donating all of the materials. We are a club very focused on the future and plan this to be a revolving project that we will build something of interest every year. We decided to raffle our work, drawn recently under police supervision. The raffle was an outstanding success with 95% of tickets sold.

This is a credit to the hard work of our members, and the generosity of our community, with more than $2900 raised. We will use this money, along with the proceeds of our other projects, to support the many funding applications we receive throughout the year. But it seems the Play Equipment Project is the project that keeps on giving! Suzy & Bryan Jackson from Morrinsville are the lucky winners. This presents us with a bit of a shipping problem.
