“How do you know where to look for fossils?” That’s probably one of the most common questions I get as a paleontologist, and it was at the front of my thoughts during the spring of 2017. I needed to locate some new fossil fields, as destinations for summer peccary trips, projects for Webb students, and for my own scientific interests.
