Class of 2022 Senior Class Gift
The Class of 2022 Senior Gift Campaign

The senior class gift campaign is an opportunity to educate each outgoing class on the importance of philanthropy in the life of The Webb Schools. Every year, hundreds of alumni donors make a gift in support of myriad programs and needs at Webb that tuition alone does not cover. Throughout the academic year, the Office of Advancement and the Office of Alumni Relations work with seniors on all the ways to remain connected to Webb after graduation, emphasizing that the opportunity to give back is just one way to leave an impact on the Webb community.
This year there was extra incentive for students to participate thanks to a matching gift challenge from Webb trustee Jordan Taylor ’02. Many of the seniors gave in response to the challenge, seeing their support matched to an area of campus which means most to them. This year’s class gave to scholarships and financial aid, The Webb Fund, a variety of student activity funds, and the Alf Museum. Several were also inspired enough to give $20.22 or above, joining Webb’s Pacesetter’s Club for recent graduates with their first gift. The Class of 2022 achieved over 22% participation in honor of their graduating year. Dean of Students for Webb School of California Rick Duque had this to say: “They stepped up as they were stepping out. It was no surprise at all. Their generosity will allow others the opportunity to have the full Webb experience. They absolutely left Webb better than it was when they arrived!”
Dean of Students for Vivian Webb School Sarah Lantz also remarked: “The Class of 2022 has always been a philanthropic, community-minded class—it doesn't surprise me they stepped up to the challenge to support Webb in such a heroic manner. Their service and dedication to the Webb community was exemplary. We will always be grateful to the Class of 2022 for their courage and generous spirit in giving back to Webb.”
