Priscilla Frazier and Cody Beckham's first date was a terrifying one, but it couldn't scare away love. The day was like any other. Priscilla, her best friend, and Cody (the best friend's cousin), made a short stop at the Quick Trip convenience store in Platte City, Missouri. Cody had flown in from Texas to meet Priscilla face-to-face, as they had only been communicating long distance. Cody decided to wait in the backseat while the two friends went into the store to grab a few things, but when they came out, they noticed that the car, and Cody, were gone. What they didn't know until later was that a 26-year-old woman had hopped in the driver’s seat, and took off, with Cody still in the back. “After an hour-long chase, shutting down the interstate, and a lot of emotions, the KCPD caught the person and Cody was unharmed,” Priscilla said. Six months later, Priscilla moved to Longview to be with Cody, and just over a year later the two bought their first home together. “Cody asked me to marry him the day of closing while we were showing our family around our new home, in the backyard! Everyday, when I walk outside, I am able to relive one of the best days of my life.” What may have started as one of the worst days, turned into one of the best. Love truly does conquer all.

Not only is Ashley Warrell the manager at Dress Me Bridal Boutique, she is also a future bride, planning to get married to her fiance Kent on their five year anniversary. Last summer, Kent agreed to getting professional photos taken of himself and Ashley, which she had begged him to do for three years. What she didn't know was that he had planned a little something extra for the day. “Kent had hired a photographer to meet us at The Missions in San Juan

Capistrano, CA while we were on vacation,” Ashley said. “As we walked around The Missions taking pictures I noticed Kent was getting extremely nervous. I figured it was the fact that hundreds of people were watching us, but that wasn't it.” The couple walked towards the water fountain in the middle of The Missions to get some photos and it was there that the “extra something” that Kent had planned took place. “The wind was blowing, so I went to get the hair out of my face, just like every other girl would do, and when I turned around there he was on one knee with the most beautiful ring I've ever seen.” Ashley was shocked and could only eke out a simple, but sweet “Yes!” between happy tears. The couple will be married on November 11, 2017 at Eagle's Bluff Country Club.

This year marked the 8th anniversary of The Wedded Bliss Bridal Faire at the Maude Cobb Convention Center in Longview. Top wedding professionals from across east Texas filled the convention center. From event planners to venues, cake decorators, caterers, music

1. SIMPLE AND ELEGANT Garden style bouquets are the most popular bouquets. It's easy to get this look any time throughout the year. There are always wonderful greenery options that make this look an all-around easy bouquet to style.
2. ALL THE FRILLS Anemones are sweet little florals with soft white petals and dark centers. These florals, although small, make a grand statement in a bouquet. They are available throughout the year, but are at their largest in early spring. They can also be found in various colors.
3. BRILLIANTLY BOLD Burgundy dahlias and peonies, scabiosa, privet berries, and pepperberries create a wonderful fall bouquet. Berries and greenery are also a nice option for fall.

Coral peonies are in season in late fall and spring. This bouquet is a beautiful showcase of the coral peony. It is usually the first peony in season but also the first to go out. In their peak season, the peony can be the size of a hydrangea.
