were united in marriage on September 27, 2008, at Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville. They repeated their vows in the presence of family and friends in a lovely outdoor, sundown setting with Judge Fletcher presiding. The bride is the daughter of Andy and Kay Parish of Jacksonville and Donny and Sabrina Whitehead of Henderson. Her grandparents are Paul and Laurell Jordan and Edward and Mary Parish, all of Arp. The groom is the son of Philip and Joni McGee of Houston and Candace Dillion of Palestine. His grandparents are Joe and the late Bonnie Myers of Palestine and Elsie McGee of Palestine. Attending the bride was maid of honor Jennifer Moore along with bridesmaids Angelina Liles and Ashley Brisow. The groom's attendants were his father, Philip McGee, as best man, Efrain Garcia, and Tyler Dillon. Relatives and guests were assisted by ushers, Josh Parish, Matthew Swinney, and Brandon Lauder. Ring bearers were Levi McGee, son of the groom, and Kaden Parish, nephew of the bride. Flower girls were Kori Lee and Jessica Minnix. Following the wedding, the bride and groom greeted their families and guests in the great room at Castle on the Lake with a cocktail reception and dance. On Friday night, September 26, a rehearsal dinner was held at Castle on the Lake for members of the wedding party and the immediate families. The Bride and groom spent their honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and are residing in Arp.

Kellie Carter and Jeremy Jordan were married on Saturday, October 4th, 2008, in a sunset ceremony at Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville. Kellie is the daughter of Allen and Denise Carter of Tyler. Jeremy is the son of Jim and Karen Jordan also of Tyler. A beautiful reception filled with family, friends, food, dancing, and fun immediately followed. Jenny Leigh Portraits and Tripwire Productions captured the event. Boogie Butt Productions provided the music and entertainment. The bride's and groom's cakes were designed by Designs by D'Anne. The groom's mother, owner of KJ Designs, created the amazing bouquets and all of the beautiful floral arrangements. The couple would like to thank the bride's parents for the wonderful ceremony and reception and also thank their family and friends for making the day so memorable. After the wedding, the happy couple flew to Amergris Caye, Belize, for a week of scuba diving and sun. The couple resides in Houston where Kellie is a petroleum engineer and Jeremy is in software sales for Texas POS.

Brother Jordan Tew, special cousin of the bride, and Brother Richard Jones of Calvary, officiated the candlelit holiday ceremony always dreamed of by the bride. She was escorted down the aisle by her father and stepfather wearing an exquisitely detailed House of Wu strapless bridal gown in rum, with a finger-tip length satin trimmed veil. The bride's bouquet included twenty Sahara roses and six deep red orchids wrapped and tied with ivory satin ribbon, designed by Ann's Petals. The bride is the daughter of Gary and Terri Smith of Longview and James McGrew, Jr. of Raceland, LA. She is a graduate of Pine Tree High School and East Texas Baptist University School of Nursing. She is employed as a Field RN with At Home Healthcare. The groom is the son of Randy and Becky Milford of Hallsville. He is a graduate of Hallsville High School and Tyler Junior College. He is employed by a privately owned business as an Accounts Manager. The reception was held at the Sacred Spur Ranch, where many guests traded their dress shoes for dancing boots. The Ryan Pierce band provided entertainment for the Texas-styled celebration. An array of delicious hors d'oeuvres was catered by Pat McGinnis. The four tiered ivory wedding cake, embellished with majesty and sahara roses, was designed by Cakes by Carolyn. The groom's cake was Texas shaped, decorated red, white and blue, sitting atop a double layer of chocolate. Friends and family created a beautiful arch of light with sparklers for the bride and groom to run through as they left for their honeymoon to the romantic Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. The couple will reside in White Oak.
