Algebra Foundations

Algebra is the most important and fundamental math course for students as they progress further along the higherlevel math track. The skills of simplifying expressions, solving equations, solving systems of equations, and creating linear equations and graphs will be used in every level of math and are crucial skills for nearly every profession. This course will build on the foundational skills students have already learned and challenge them to deepen their understanding of algebra. Students will be met at their level and then progress further toward mastery through activities, games, and challenges. Instructor: Daniel Magas, Wellington Middle School math teacher

Amazing Animals

Fee: $150

Join us as we jump into the worlds of our favorite animal stories in this immersive dramatic journey! Whether we are dressing up to explore Eric Carle’s “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?,” crafting mousy poems with Leo Leonni’s “Frederick,” or doing Sandra Boynton’s “Dinosaur Dance,” students will build beginner theatrical, as well as social and emotional, skills. Stories will come to life as students play favorite characters and discover what may have happened before, after, and in other parts of these well-loved stories.
