Abandon everything you have ever thought learning had to be. And let’s talk about the one thing learning has to be.

Fearless

The most important lesson we teach our students is to have the courage to find their passion. When they are brave enough for the search, they are poised to achieve their greatest potential.

For Little Jags to Upper School grads, Wellington is the place where fearless learning thrives.

Everyone has something to teach.

Everyone has something to learn. Life as a Jaguar is filled with connections that foster a meaningful sense of community. Crossing languages, cultures, grade levels, and the lunch table, our students connect as mentors, buddies, teammates, and partners. At Wellington, how we learn is just as important as what we learn.

Curiosity trumps any grade.

We believe in tapping hidden talents, fearless learning, and experiential instruction. By nurturing students’ inquisitive nature, their passions are discovered and unique potential realized.

The college of your dreams is the only one worth pursuing.

For the math whiz or the featured artist, whether center field or center stage, The Wellington College Counseling program is an invaluable resource for every student in the pursuit of their ambitions.

Inside every one of us is the spirit of a Jaguar. Every student has a dream. The Wellington community encourages, inspires, and supports each child as they pursue it. Whether solving problems directly in front of us, or exploring the possibilities ahead, we witness dreams turning into reality.

Success is about setting goals, not just scoring them.

When everyone gets a shot on the field, valuable lessons are learned in perseverance, collaboration, leadership, and sportsmanship. Wellington students discover their true passions by setting, achieving, and surpassing their goals.

Creativity is a necessity.

It may start with a paintbrush, a violin, or a script, but the importance of fostering creativity goes beyond the stage or the studio. At Wellington, we believe creative thinking is an essential skill in achieving academic excellence. We encourage and develop it in all students, positioning them to be resilient and adaptable in the modern era.

Asking questions is just as valuable as answering them. Memorization and recitation may have their place in the learning experience, but Wellington prepares students for the unpredictability of the future by nurturing their inquisitive nature.

A fearless approach to education gives our students the chance to learn and grow in the ways that work best for them—to question, to explore, to discover, and to create. Knowledge isn’t the only outcome. This is where courage is born.

The biggest reward is knowing that our students are prepared, not just for the days we can see ahead, but for the ones we can’t even imagine.

Numbers don’t say everything, but they will give you another glimpse of who we are—and how we think.
