Limonana Granita

Beat the summer heat with this refreshing limonana granita. Serve it as a palate cleanser at your Shabbos meal or kiddush to keep your family and guests cool.

2 cups ice cubes

½ cup lemon juice

½ cup mint leaves

¼ cup agave syrup

¼ cup water

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. If using immediately, transfer to a glass and garnish with sliced lemon and mint leaves.

If using at a later time, keep frozen until 20 minutes before serving. Scrape with a fork so it gets slushy again, then garnish and serve.
