HCC offering free culinary training course for line cooks Holyoke Community College is offering a free, four-week, intensive training course for experienced kitchen workers who want to quickly advance their culinary skills. The grant-funded course, Line Cook Training, will run Monday through Friday, June 4 to June 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the new HCC MGM Culinary Arts Institute in downtown Holyoke. 10th Annual Wave Triathlon Clinic and Race WESTFIELD — On Sunday June 10th Tater Racing will conduct the 10th Annual Westfield YMCA Wave Triathlon and Duathlon, benefitting the Westfield YMCA Wave Swim Team. The “Sprint Distance” race

consists of a .3 mi (~600 yd) swim in Pequot Pond at Hampton Ponds State Park, followed by a 13 mi bike ride, and ends with a 3 mi run.
