Summer Sports Camps Soccer Camp Led by Scott Snyder, Westminster’s nationally recognized coach, Snyder Championship Soccer Camps provide an outstanding soccer curriculum that is delivered in a way that is both challenging and fun. The week’s sessions combine technical training along with individual and team tactics in order for the player to progressively grow through the week. Monday through Thursday’s camp schedule consists of a morning curriculum that emphasizes individual development, lunch, individual contests, and then group work on team tactics that leads to the players putting their days’ work to use in small-sided games to end the day. Friday has the campers competing in their final contests along with the culmination of the weeklong small-sided tournament. All campers will receive a camp certificate and personal evaluation. Wrestling Wrestling Camp builds the fundamentals of wrestling on and off the mat. We will develop the same skills (balance, footwork, takedowns, and positional techniques) mastered by Westminster wrestlers. At the camp, we will teach basic techniques, play games for skill development, and host a tournament at the end of the session. Head wrestling coach L.B. Joel will focus on the values that have led Westminster wrestlers to success on and off the mat. As a sport and martial art, wrestling builds sportsmanship, confidence, and discipline.
