Affordable housing is a basic necessity that Catholic Charities is committed to supporting. A safe and decent home allows parents to maintain jobs, children to stay in the same schools, and the local economy to be supported.

You Catholic Charities manages 209 affordable housing units for limited-income families, elderly and adults with disabilities.
Kennedy Park West was our first home together. The community is clean, safe, and affordable. We both work hard at our jobs and because of Catholic Charities, we were able to save money on rent each month which enabled us to eventually buy our own house. We learned to manage our income and are excited to move onto the next - Christian Marty step.

Our counselor got us both involved in therapy sessions and taught my husband and me communication strategies that improved our relationship. I wish we would have tried counseling sooner because it tremendously impacted our entire family dymanic. I highly recommend Catholic Charities.

420 clients received Immigration Legal Services in the Archdiocese of Dubuque, including 52 unaccompanied minors. 111 Educational Outreach trainings were provided to over 1,600 individuals in the Archdiocese. 94% of clients reported more confidence in their ability to pursue school or employment.
