It is truly wonderful we get to learn new things every day. When I first started, I was very timid and self-conscious. The Wooden Floor has helped me feel more confident, to become more open with people. It has also helped a lot with my feelings. It is hard to explain, but when I’m down I think of dance and my friends here, and that helps me.”
Danna, Class of 2027 Danna is in 7th grade and holds a 4.3 GPA at Mendez Fundamental Intermediate School. She excels in dance and models The Wooden Floor’s values among her peers at all times. She was in The Wooden Floor’s sitespecific Annual Concert in 2021. This will be her first time performing at the Irvine Barclay Theatre due to the pandemic. Danna dreams of being a history or social studies teacher.
