Don and Kay Meador
News about change often travels fast. With the announcement of Don Meador’s re-retirement, we are quickly reorganizing and restructuring in order to sustain the tremendous work he has done over the past eight years. He would be quick to tell you he is not the record holder for tenure in Senior Adult Ministry. That honor rightly belongs to Dr. Mark Lewis, who still participates in our ministry in a vital way. So, we are now blessed with two Emeritus Pastors of Senior Adults in our midst. We can’t be more blessed! It is my joy and privilege to follow in the long tenure of these two wonderful pastors. I can’t be more delighted to embrace the opportunity to serve Senior Adult Ministry as your next pastor. I hope to continue in the legacy that has been cast, because I believe we have the best of all Senior Adult groups in the entire Texas Annual Conference. I would say “in the entire world,” but I wouldn’t want to get ahead of myself just yet. I will continue to work in the role of Pastor of Caring Ministry along with a team of dedicated pastors and staff members. So, my formal title with be Pastor of Caring Ministry and Senior Adult Ministry. You will begin to see that descriptor more frequently in the coming months. One of the most exciting announcements I’d like to share is regarding the recent additions to our staff. We have added two new Caring Ministry Administrators who will be job sharing in support of Caring Ministry, Senior Adult Ministry and Special Needs Ministry. Teri Rossi will be focused on Senior Adults, and Jenny Cipolla will be focused on Special Needs. They will both work to support our ongoing efforts in Caring Ministry. Of course, Susan Goldsmith will continue to be a blessing to our entire ministry. Please join me in welcoming our newest administrators to the staff. Don and Mark assure me this opportunity will be absolutely thrilling! I am excited to get started, and I appreciate your warm welcome already. With grace and peace,
Vicki Hanks and Bruce Eichenberg

A very funny — and poignant — history lesson with a great score. Snacks will be served. Please RSVP by Tuesday, June 26 by signing up or by calling Dee and Dave Megee at 281.364.7114. All senior adults are welcome. CARING MINISTRY
