POINT A MESSAGE FROM
DON MEADOR PASTOR TO SENIOR ADULTS
SENIOR ADULT GAME NIGHT Senior Adult Game Night meets the second Friday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in Aldersgate Hall. Please join us on Friday, May 8 at our next Game Night for games, fellowship and great food! More information about Game Night can be found on page 3.
The month of May is usually a time of transition for many. There are high school and college graduations, confirmations, weddings, anniversaries, etc. It is also a time of transition in the church. Our Annual Conference meeting always comes at the last week of May. This is the time pastors are appointed to their assignments for the coming year. At this time this year I will also begin an important transition. I will be officially retiring, yes, again, at the end of May. Rev. Cliff Ritter will be assuming the responsibilities of Senior Adult Ministries and our new Administrative Assistant, Teri Rossi, will be available to help in any way. Kay and I will continue to worship and serve at this great church, which we have grown to love. We are so very grateful for the opportunity given to us to serve here for the past eight years and we will always cherish the memories of sharing in ministry with so many wonderful, faithful people.
Judi Bonds and Gin Meinhardt
Marie Hartman and Judy Stanley
The Senior Adult Ministry of this church is one of the best, most active of any church I know. I am confident all of the wonderful activities for seniors will continue to grow because of the leadership of great volunteers. May God richly bless us all as we look to the future in faith, confident of God’s love and grace. Your Friend,
Jim Atherton, Harlan Hartman, Scott Bucker and Dr. Ken Ricks
