Indigenous: This refers to a person who is a North American Indian or a member of a First Nation, Métis or Inuit. North American Indians or members of a First Nation include treaty, status or registered Indians, as well as non-status and non-registered Indians. Visible Minority: In Canada, a member of a visible minority is a person, other than an Indigenous or First Nations person, who is non-Caucasian in race or non-white in colour, regardless of birthplace. Persons with Disabilities: This refers to those who have long-term or recurring physical, mental, sensory, psychiatric or learning impairment(s). LGBTQ: LGBTQ is an acronym that stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning.
