JOB TITLE: Coordinator, Marketing DATE: April 2016 REPORTS TO: Director, Marketing DIVISION / DEPT.: MARKETING ____________________________________________________________________________ PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES This position is responsible to assist in the development and promotion of SRGXi digital and traditional marketing initiatives which support WXN and CBDC sales and brand awareness across all markets in Canada and Internationally. The successful candidate will possess superb interpersonal skills and will be creative, driven and organized. _____________________________________________________________________________ KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Support Marketing Director in the oversight of SRGXi, WXN and CBDC brand values from design to positioning. 2. Coordinate the marketing department tasks and projects, ensuring project integrity for timely completion and maintenance of creative direction as set by Marketing Director. 3. Coordinate and design assigned marketing materials (e.g. evites, collateral materials, press release submission, newsletters, advertising etc) including design, copy writing, editing and submission. 4. Coordinate and design weekly evites which meet the needs of all SRGXi programs: WXN Speaker Series, WXN Wisdom, Top 100, CBDC, Get on Board Education Program, Annual Report Card, Diversity 50, etc. 5. Track metrics and criteria for successful marketing programs and activities (Marketing Dashboard). 6. Coordinate all social media platforms to manage and enhance the member experience and support, develop and grow our online member community. 7. Manage Digital Brand Ambassador relationships. 8. Work with Marketing Director to ensure the integrity of brand management of the WXN/CBDC websites, including web development process, updates, design etc. 9. Support the coordination of video production for Top 25 and Top 100 events and various other marketing videos as requested. 10. Maintain a library/catalogue of all marketing, digital and video assets for archival/reference purposes. 11. Participate in annual strategic planning, budgeting, and development and maintenance of an annual project calendar for the Marketing department. 12. Attend and contribute to all department and company meetings as requested. 13. Participate in performance review process and complete performance reviews as requested. 14. Perform duties in the Adobe Creative Suite as required. 15. Other duties as assigned. _____________________________________________________________________________ POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education / Experience:  A university degree in a related field or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and work experience; and,

Minimum 1+ years of experience in marketing, program development or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Experience with advertising and design in print and online; Experience using social media management systems (i.e. Hootsuite) to increase engagement on all social media platforms; Experience with interactive media planning and marketing; Good understanding of web-based technology, e-commerce and software and content management systems; Experience with email marketing; Superior writing and editing skills; Experience in project management principles and practices; Keen understanding of customer engagement strategies; Experience with managing CRM databases; Experience working in a fast-paced environment; and, Bilingualism is preferred but not mandatory. Technical Expertise Experience with branding, layout design and typography; Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign; Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects an asset; Experience with HTML and WordPress; and, Experience with email marketing programs (i.e. Benchmark or MailChimp).
