Demographics Breakdown

What is the purpose/objective of this magazine? The main purpose of The Opinion is to increase brand awareness globally and provide a forum to communicate relevant content from our Partners and Corporate Members, while producing inspiring and engaging articles to the WXN Community. Who is the target audience? The target demographic of The Opinion is members of the WXN Global Community. This includes both men and women, ages 26 – 55. The target reader is a socially-conscious and informed individual who is career-driven. WXN Demographic Breakdown Women who are members of WXN are qualified. Memberships are lifelong and subject to a one-time processing fee. Membership in WXN requires a minimum six years of full-time experience in a management, executive, professional or board role; a minimum annual personal income; and, post-secondary education. The majority of our members have completed a college/university degree, almost half of which have gone on to complete a Masters or Doctorate degree. We are pleased to share this demographic snapshot: •

19% of our members have 6 - 9 years of full-time work experience in a management, director or executive role; 45% have 10 - 20 years of experience and 30% have over 20 years of experience. 17% of WXN members have a C-level, President, Managing Director or Founder title; 12% have a EVP or VP title; 23% have a Senior Manager title; and, 15% have a Manager title. 50% of our members in Canada earn an annual personal income of over $100,000 CDN and 20% earn in excess of $200,000 CDN per year; 44% of our members in Ireland earn an annual personal income of over €100,000 and 4% earn in excess of €200,000 per year.

When and how is the magazine distributed? The Opinion is released quarterly, at the beginning of January, April, July and October, on our website at wxnetwork.com/community/wxn-opinion/, with the link distributed through evites to our members and social media channels. Currently, the magazine is exclusively available online; however, we are hoping to begin printing within the next year. What is the content of the magazine? The magazine covers various topics relevant to our membership. In each edition, the articles range from “How To’s” to “Ten Tips for Successful First Impressions” to “Why Company

Culture Matters” to “Speaker Profiles.” In addition to articles, the magazine contains features and pictures from various events, including recent speakers, Top 25 and Top 100 Award Winners. The magazine is intended to provide a fresh perspective, so the content is always changing. We welcome you to submit a piece of creative for the next edition! What are the contributor benefits? As a contributor, you will be able to showcase your opinions and positions to a large-scale audience through a well-known and reputable brand channel. Because the magazine is online, it’s easy to share with your community. Also, as a contributor of articles, your brand will gain great exposure and awareness globally, as well as be recognized as an organization committed to promoting the growth of female leaders in business. What are the details for submission? WXN welcomes all members of our community, Partners and Corporate Members to submit content for the magazine. This includes articles (ranging from 500 to 700 words) and pictures (with captions). With your story submission, please also remember to include you title, headshot and byline. Your content must be submitted digitally in a separate Word document. After submission, it will be reviewed, and you will be notified if it’s approved for inclusion in an upcoming issue.
