president, maintains an 86 per cent average, has a part-time job and has overcome a list of adversities. It’s no surprise that 19-year-
old Joseph Le was one of 20 recipients for the $5,000 Horatio Alger Ontario Scholarship. “I thought I’d give it a try,” said Le. “The worst they can
say is no, right? So I just applied for it.” This is the first scholarship Le has applied for. He heard about the scholarship through his high
