A wall at Oakwood and Eglinton avenues will soon pay homage to some of Toronto’s biggest

reggae artists in the form of a 1,200-square-foot mural. A thriving hub for Jamaican reggae artists in the 1970s and ’80s, the mural at 1529 Eglinton Ave. W., next to Reggae Lane

alleyway, will feature artists Pluggy Satchmo, Bernie Pitters, Leroy Sibbles, Lord Tanamo, Calypso Rose, Jay Douglas, Stranger Cole, Johnny Osbourne, Jojo Bennett, Nana

McLean, Haile Selassie, Bob Marley, the Skatalites, as well as the symbol of the Lion of Judah. Lead by artist Adrian Hayles >>>MURAL, page 7
