“It is such an epic show,” said Dauda, noting the cast has been rehearsing for the past two weeks. “There’s so many wonderful things going on in it.” The play centres around Freddie, a 12-year-old boy, who receives cryptic text messages from his soldier dad in an unnamed, war-torn country. He ends up being dragged into the past and on a quest to slay the Minotaur, believing it’s the only way to help his father. Intended for junior and intermediate students, Minotaur explores themes of responsibility and sacrifice. >>>ST. CLAIR, page 16

FANNIE SUNSHINE fsunshine@insidetoronto.com Looking at Isabella Leone, one would never guess the five-yearold spent two years battling leukemia. The healthy, happy little girl with long brown hair, who has
been in remission for a year, was on hand when her senior kindergarten class sat through a presentation by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC) at Immaculate Conception Catholic School last Thursday. >>>DIAGNOSED, page 16
