It’s a show audiences can expect to see something they’ve never seen before. That’s how York resident

Tony Nguyen describes the 15th anniversary concert by Nagata Shachu, a professional Japanese taiko drumming and music group, tomorrow and Saturday, at the Enwave Theatre, 231 Queens Quay W.

“They’re in for quite a treat,” said Nguyen, who is one of five members in the group. Nagata Shachu has been performing since 1998 and has toured throughout Canada, the U.S. and Italy. They have also

recorded six albums with the latest titled Hymus Road to be released at the show. Nguyen joined the group three years ago after attending the University of Toronto >>>TONY, page 2
