Through unexpected stages of COVID-19 outbreak, time becomes an irrelevant factor as we are urged to stay home; to stop the spread of this unpredictable virus.
Area 205 is a visual documentation that looks at how a change of routines influences my typical artistic perspective to observing the often overlooked beauty within my oddly unfamiliar neighbourhood.
With the local clubhouse and riverwalk forced to shut down temporarily during the outbreak, the only alternative for me to keep fit and healthy is by taking new regular walks in my own streets, ideally at dawn. It is quite a beautiful and heartwarming atmosphere to watch the urban mundane gets absorbed by the warmth of sunrise, as its palette changes from a blue to yellowish temperature.
The hidden beauty of nature and things is not so distant after all. It literally lies before our eyes when we choose to observe and focus on what matters to us the most.
