In 2018, the First Thailand Biennale was organized by The Office of Contemporary Art and Culture (OCAC) in Krabi. This Biennale encourages visual explorations, engenders a new way of thinking, and invites everyone to join the journey, an adventure, and to reflect on the relationship between art, nature, and everyday life. It reflects the diversity of cultural heritage and spirit of Krabi in addition to the traditional perception.
The book presents the concept of artworks that expands on how the artist interacts with the natural space, also known as "Wonderland," deeply conveyed through outstanding artworks. The commissioned work by 57 artists, including 50 artists (groups) from 25 countries worldwide, was installed in over five venues - coastal areas, waterfalls, caves, and communities - around the province of Krabi.
