Sher maker – Wood and Mountain Cabin
A small cabin in the middle of the forest has a solid façade composed almost entirely of charred timber cladding. The façade acts as an element that creates a first impression on visitors and is also the essence of the project. It is in line with the essence of the architectural approach of Sher Maker, an architectural practice based in Chiang Mai that focuses on working with local artisans and has an interest in developing design methods that will allow for what they call "a high level of human expression." This modest architecture reflects their process of working and thinking, which contributes to the powerful and meaningful architecture.
