The Distinguished Alumni (Dr. William Reinhart ’61, Michael Lanciotti Jr. ’78 and John “Jack” Martin ’75), Service to Thiel (Dr. James Bloomfield and Raymond Hanlon ’74) and Young Alumni (Grant T. Alexis ’05 and Branning Street ’06) awards will be presented.

*5K Run/Fun Walk for Malaria Co-Sponsored By DHI & Campus Ministry

Join the Detrich Honors Institute and Thiel Campus Ministry on a 5K Run/ Fun Walk. Proceeds benefit the ELCA Malaria Campaign. A registration packet with complete race details will be mailed to interested participants or the information can be printed from the Homecoming website. Entry Fees (per participant): $15 before Oct. 4, $20 after Oct. 4.

A child dies from malaria every 60 seconds… Working through churches in 11 African countries, the ELCA Malaria Campaign is uniquely positioned to provide mosquito nets, insecticides, medication, health care, education and more to help eliminate deaths from this disease—for good. Thiel’s Dietrich Honors Institute and Campus Ministry Program are joining forces to help bring an end to this disease.

Bly Hall Renovation Dedication and New Faculty and Staff Reception Bly Hall, Academic Center

Join us and meet new faculty and staff while celebrating the complete renovation of Bly Auditorium. This renovation was funded in part by the Class of 1961 and through an additional generous donation in honor of Dr. Joyce Cuff and Prof. David Miller ’61 and in memory of Dr. Chauncey Bly by Dr. Carl ’69 H’10 and Theresa Hoffman.

Witness the Tomcat spirit as the annual Homecoming parade makes its way through downtown Greenville (Main Street) to campus. Featuring the Tomcat Marching Pride band and various student organizations.

Transportation

Thiel is pleased to provide Homecoming guests with complimentary shuttle service between The Hampton Inn (West Middlesex location only) and campus at the following times on Saturday, October 12: Hampton Inn pick-up times: 7:30 and 10 a.m., 6 and 9 p.m. On campus pick-up times (in front of Passavant Center): 5:30 p.m. & 8:30 p.m. Tomcat Prowl: Downtown Greenville (by Fox’s pizza) pick-up times: midnight & 2 a.m.

• Mail completed registration form and check payable to “Thiel College” (note “Homecoming” on memo line) to Thiel Alumni Office, 75 College Ave., Greenville, PA 16125. • Football tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth prior to the game. • Walk-up reservations are welcome, but events with seating capacity limits will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. • Sorry, no refunds. ATTIRE: Show your Tomcat pride with your favorite blue and gold clothing! And be prepared for all weather with layers and rain gear. No attire restrictions apply. CHECK-IN: When you arrive on campus, stop by the Friends of Art Lounge in the HMSC to pick up your registration packet, name tag and weekend information. PARKING: Parking is provided in the Passavant Center Lot, on the north end of campus. If needed, shuttle service is available between the parking lot and Alumni Stadium on game day. FIND YOUR CLASSMATES: Looking for someone at Homecoming? Stop by the Alumni Association tent at Alumni Stadium from 1:30 - 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, where you will be able to see the full list of Homecoming attendees.
