Designability partners with JMDA on accessible pushchair

National charity Designability has announced a new partnership with product design agency JMDA Design to support the charity’s Pushchair for Wheelchair Users project, which aims to address one of the main inequalities disabled parents and carers face.

Queen’s Award-winning JMDA specialises in designing child car seats and nursery products, and it is supporting Designability in creating the charity’s wheelchairattachable pushchair, enabling parents who are manual wheelchair users the opportunity to take their babies and young children out independently.

Accessibility manufacturer Silvalea has appointed James Lambden as its new Commercial Director with responsibility for all sales, marketing and customer service functions as well as assisting the managing director.

James has over 20 years of experience at a medical device company with a strategic and passionate drive for sales, in particular within the NHS and acute sector.
