from THIIS August 2023
by THIIS
Since launching its first through-floor lift in 1968, Cheshire-based Terry Lifts has gone from strength to strength, supplying a range of different types of lifts for both domestic and public access. With more new product launches on the horizon, THIIS chats to Dave Allen, Managing Director of Terry Lifts, to find out more…
Originally founded as an engineering company in 1947, for more than 50 years Terry Lifts has designed and manufactured lifts in Cheshire. Each lift has been developed, it says, to enable users and their loved ones to overcome barriers, revolutionise their quality of life, allow them to remain in the family home, and to help restore their independence.
Its product range includes throughfloor homelifts, platform lifts, step lifts, and its award-winning temporary access solution, the portable access platform lift.
Terry Lifts offers a comprehensive service which includes surveying, preparatory works, installation, and ongoing maintenance.
Its offices and factory are based on a trading estate in Knutsford, which is where it houses its fabrication shop, powder coating facility, a purposebuilt training academy and a fully equipped showroom that is open to both trade and the public.
