Credit Union Executive Dialogue Features Credit Union Movement Discussion - LSCU, CUES and MCUL co-host the event in Miami - CU Executive Dialogue geared toward large credit unions - Facilitated discussions will build on strategic competencies Birmingham, AL/Tallahassee, FL, October 17, 2012 – The League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU), the Credit Union Executives Society (CUES) and the Michigan Credit Union League (MCUL) are partnering to bring credit unions the 2nd Credit Union Executive Dialogue March 14-15 at the Hyatt Miami at The Blue. The Credit Union Executive Dialogue is geared toward credit unions with $500 million or more in assets. The two-day dialogue gathers peer credit unions from around the country to discuss the state of the movement and to learn from other top industry leaders.

“It’s important that credit unions recapture their collaborative spirit,” said LSCU President/CEO Patrick La Pine. “The dialogue is a good way to bring credit unions together, in a relaxed atmosphere, and have pointed discussions on ways to move our industry forward. We need to work together on economies of scale, technology and innovative ideas. The partnership with CUES helps keep the discussion at a high level because it’s one of the industry leaders in credit union education.” “Strengthening collaboration among credit unions is crucial to the long-term success of the movement,” said CUES President/CEO Fred Johnson. “In fact, the first-year’s participants couldn’t agree more. They gave the Credit Union Executive Dialogue 100 percent excellent/good ratings and sparked many vital discussions. I’m proud that LSCU and CUES continue to grow our partnership, and pleased our collaboration has drawn such enthusiasm from the industry.” The first LSCU/CUES Credit Union Executive Dialogue, held Feb. 2-3, 2012, brought together credit union executives from eight states and Canada. Attendees took part in facilitated discussions and scenario planning. The discussions are a good way to have quality conversations with peer credit unions and share innovative ideas. The Michigan Credit Union League and Affiliates, based in Lansing, MI, is co-hosting the Credit Union Executive Dialogue for the first time in 2013. It was important for the
