Regulatory and Compliance Resources Available to Member Credit Unions The League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU) has a number of regulatory and compliance resources available to credit unions. The League has put a renewed emphasis on regulatory and compliance support to give credit unions a place to turn when they need assistance. Visit www.lscu.coop for many of the League’s resources.

Compliance Resources Available to You:

If your credit union needs help in the compliance area, the League is here to help. hh The League offers a compliance helpline, 866.231.0541, for assisting credit unions with compliance and operational issues. Credit unions can call the helpline to ask questions and get the support they need. hh League InfoSight is an online compliance resource that maintains updated federal and state regulatory information including summaries, FAQs, checklists, and model policies. The policies should not be implemented straight from the website, but they are a good starting point for putting policies in place. Visit the LSCU website for more information.

hh The League distributes quarterly state specific economic profiles and quarterly Custom Performance Reports for credit unions to help them gain a better understanding of their financial picture as compared to their peers. If your credit union needs regulatory, compliance, or operational support, contact LSCU VP, Regulatory Affairs Bill Berg 866.231.0545, ext. 1028 or Director, Compliance Scott Morris at ext. 2165.

Education and Training LSCU Education and Training offers more than 80 webinars with many of the topics focused on areas of compliance. The League has workshops on the Bank Secrecy Act, Disaster Recovery, and Regulatory Compliance Updates while also working with credit union chapters to provide regulatory and compliance training. For more information about Education and Training, contact LSCU Event Coordinator Brandy Norvell at 866.231.0545, ext. 2172.

Small Asset Size Credit Union Resource The LSCU offers Small Asset Size Credit Unions ($35 million and under in assets) a $400 voucher under the League’s Small CU Initiative Account program. This voucher can be used for any League, LEVERAGE, or CUNA product or service. It’s perfect for a webinar, education session, or compliance product. For more information on the voucher program, contact LSCU VP, Cooperative Initiatives Laura Vann at 866.231.0545, ext. 2181.
