LSCU/CUNA Update on Aug. 1 Please add the LSCU/CUNA update on Wednesday, Aug. 1 to your calendar and plan to join LSCU President & CEO Patrick La Pine for an informative webinar focusing on recent LSCU and CUNA initiatives. The webinar will begin at 2 p.m. CST/3 p.m. EST and will last less than an hour. The update will include a review of second quarter legislative activities such as the passage of the ATM bill and the continuing efforts on Member Business Lending. The League will introduce the LSCU Action Center, a one-stop shop for credit union CEOs, staff, and volunteers to get more involved in the political process. There will also be an update on LSCU grassroots activities, including upcoming Hike the Hill events, chapter meet-and-greets, and the use of social media. The webinar will also include a preview of the 2013 legislative agenda. RateMap, the newest tool available from League InfoSight, will be previewed. Other subjects to be highlighted during the webinar are the Cooperative Image Campaign, upcoming educational events, the therapeutic playground “leave behind� project in honor of the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Tampa, the Young Professionals Group, and news from LEVERAGE.
