New Chairman Takes Over Following LSCU Annual Meeting - LSCU also adds three new members to the board Birmingham, AL/Tallahassee, FL, June 21, 2012 – The League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU) announced a new chairman of the board following its Annual Business meeting on June 14, 2012 at the 3rd LSCU Annual Convention and Exposition. Mary Ott Wood, CEO of Florida West Coast CU in Brandon, FL, was elected to succeed Joe McGee, CEO of Legacy Community FCU of Birmingham, AL. Wood becomes the third chairman of the LSCU board. McGee served two years. The Executive Committee for the LSCU board is as follows: Chairman – Mary Ott Wood, CEO, Florida West Coast Credit Union Chairman-elect – Steve Swofford, CEO, Alabama Credit Union Vice chairman – Tina Williams, CEO, Mobile Educators Credit Union Secretary – Brent Lister, CEO, First Florida Credit Union Treasurer – Alvin Cowans, CEO, McCoy Federal Credit Union The LSCU board welcomed three new members following the Annual Business meeting: Leianne Harden – Manager, Florida Customs FCU Jeanette Keller – CEO, Blue Flame CU Steven Nazaruk – CEO, Tallahassee FCU With three new members to the board, it means that three members’ terms were up.
