THE PROBLEMS WE ARE SOLVING Deforestation is a particular concern in tropical rainforests because these forests are home to so many animals. More than 30% of the trees cut in the United States end up as paper. Pulp and paper production is one of the largest contributors to the loss of endangered forests all over the world.

Deforestation could also causes endangered species. Animals living in the rainforest becomes homeless as some paper companies harvesting rainforest irresponsibly. New Leaf Paper Imagination uses 100% recycled paper which causes no harm to the environment. We partner with wwf to help protect endangered species.

Cultivated crops such as bananas, rice and sugarcane are favorite foods. Elephants are always close to a source of fresh water because they need to drink at least once a day.

PAPER PRODUCTION COULD BE A DIRTY BUSINESS Paper has a profound effect on the environment. According to the Environmental Paper Network (epn), choices about paper use are some of the easiest, and most significant actions people can take to impact the planet.

In addition to causing water pollution and the loss of native forests and biodiversity, paper production is the third largest industrial energy consumer in the world and one of the biggest emitters of greenhouse gasses.

BUT, WE ARE DIFFERENT.
