THORNBURY in Bloom volunteers are celebrating after bringing home the top trophy from the South West in Bloom competition. This year the group entered Britain in Bloom South West's toughest class, the Champion of Champions, which saw the town compete against all the winners from last year’s categories. The
2019 standard was set high, with every single group winning a Gold medal – but Thornbury trumped them all and brought home the trophy. Now the group is looking for new volunteers to continue its success, as some members of the team are about to step down. Turn to page 3
