BIOGRAPHY Hailing from the vast and diverse community of Southern California, Gatsby is an upcoming hip-hop artist to be reckoned with. Drawing inspiration from Drake, The Neptunes, and T.I., he has developed the impressive ability to create a unique and intriguing sound. Gatsby has refined his craft by finding and conquering the fragile balance between confident indifference and languid enunciation in his music. With Gatsby’s ability to deliver daft, hard-hitting lyricism over stylish, vivid beats, he has created a musical atmosphere which is undoubtedly one of the best amongst Southern California’s underground rap scene. Gatsby’s tenacity and “work hard, play hard” mentality definitely translate into his musical style as exemplified in “Keep It Movin” and “The Champ,” two favorites from his newest album, “Vendetta.” With outstanding personality, lucid imagery, and candid expressionism, Gatsby’s sound proves to be unconventional, impressive, and is sure to resonate with the listener.
