BIOGRAPHY Born into a large musical family in Cincinnati , Ohio… Fenix 6 (born Vernell Rogers) took an interest in music at an early age. Growing up in a household in which every conversation was a potential song for his mother to create by singing all the words, Fenix 6 began perfecting his skills in creating songs from simple personal subjects.
Over the years he has harnessed his skills in writing, production, and performing to form a unique experience. His style consists of a very original delivery which effortlessly fuses a variety of styles: conscience hip hop, solid rap, R&B, pop, etc… creating a diverse music catalog. Fenix 6 has just about everything you could look for in an artist, making him a marketable commodity.
Fenix 6 aka "Digi" had finally established a solid career in the midwest, not only as part of a group but also as a solo artist. He moved to Los Angeles after receiving Ohio’s Hip Hop Award in 2010 alongside fellow state artists such as Machine Gun Kelly and Chip da Ripper.
Highly intelligent, articulate, diverse, and universal … Fenix 6 is what the music industry has been looking for. Over the past six years, he has dropped 4 projects: Enter Galac 6, 3M, Rizing From Ashes, Ex-it Strategy, and is currently in the process of completing his first project in Los Angeles called "DIGIWORLD".
He has opened up for many artists around the country and is now prepared to take it to another level. Standing at 6’ 4”, this artist has the talent , the look, personality, and appeal to capture the industry. Fenix 6 is not just a rapper, but an true artist. He is a force to be reckoned with and a star that is ready to earn his place amongst music’s greatest.
In 2010, Fenix 6 received Ohio’s Hip Hop Award in 2010 alongside fellow artists such as Machine Gun Kelly and Chip da Ripper at the Rhyme Tyme Entertainment Competition.
