Zach Runs Into Noah

The short plane ride had landed in Istanbul, and you could already see the great view of Mt. Ararat. The Conwells, family of three, had been bickering the whole plane ride. “ Hey, will you two stop fighting now that we’re in Turkey!” said mom. “Fine, but I’m not talking to Rachel.” said Zach. After a two minute car ride to Mt. Ararat, they had arrived at their vacation home, and went to bed for a good nights’ rest.
The next morning breakfast was completely silent. “ All you ever do is sit at home, and play your stupid computer game!” said Rachel, breaking the silence “Why can’t you go outside and play like a normal boy?” “Fine,” said Zach. “I’ll go outside, as far away from you as I can get!” Zach bolted outside as fast as he could before anyone could say anything more to him. “ Come back Zach!” mom said.
Zach was far gone before mom said that.
Within minutes Zach was far away, and night began to fall. Rachel and Mom began to worry. “ He’ll be back, right?” said Rachel. “ I don’t know.” said Mom.Morning came and Zach was nowhere to be seen. Mom called officials, but they said they hadn't seen anyone. Finally they decided to put matters in their own hands. They searched everywhere, high and low, but Zach could not be found. The only place they didn’t look was Mt. Ararat, where he was. Zach was far up the mountain hiking
on
the rough terrain. He wanted to prove to Rachel that he could be athletic, and climb the mountain. Up, and up he went. Higher, and higher, then suddenly he slipped. He started sliding down the mountain. He slid right into an almost invisible hole in the mountain.
“ Where am I?” he said as he stood up. “What is that?” he mumbled while looking at a wooden plank and two fox skeletons. “No, it can’t be!” he said with excitement. “I must have stumbled across Noah’s Ark!” Zach was so excited it felt like he just drank caffeine straight from the bottle. “I found it! I found it!” Zach screamed “I’m going to be rich!”
Meanwhile mom and Rachel were sitting at home regretting their mistakes, and wishing Zach would come back. “I have an idea,” Rachel said. “One night after school Zach told me that he would climb the largest mountain he will ever see! He must be climbing Mt. Ararat!” “Well,” Mom said “ It’s worth a shot.” Off the girls went. Up the mountain.
“Zach!” Mom screamed. There was no answer. Suddenly off in the distance they heard a sound. “I’ve found it” Zach screamed. Immediately Mom and Rachel ran in the direction that the voice
came from. In no time they had found the cave, and Zach. “Thank god we found you!” said Mom. “ I wish I never said what I did.” said Rachel
“ Me too.” said Zach.
In an instant all three of they came into a group hug. “ Why don’t we go home?” said Mom. “ Sounds good to me.” said Zach. “ I second that!” said Rachel.
Then the all three of them hiked down the mountain back home. “Hey, what about the Ark?” said Zach anxiously. “Why Don’t we keep that our little secret?” “ Sounds good to me” said Zach.
